Our Story

We are Olesia and Igor, Eastern European expats who have brought a taste of our homeland to North Carolina. Our journey began as we traveled the world, exploring new flavors and culinary traditions, but ultimately finding our home in the Tar Heel State.

As a woman-veteran owned business, we are proud to share our love for Eastern European cuisine with our community. Igor, a professional chef with extensive culinary experience, brings his expertise to the kitchen, crafting traditional dishes with a modern twist. Olesia, a single mom and veteran, oversees operations and marketing, ensuring that every aspect of our business is infused with love and care.

Thank you for joining us on this culinary journey. We look forward to sharing our love for Eastern European cuisine with you!

Olesia & Igor, Founders

At East Europe Eats, we believe in the power of food to bring people together and promote peace. That's why we're committed to supporting the Anti-War movement and standing in solidarity with those fighting for freedom and democracy. We're proud to collect aid for Ukrainian troops and support efforts to promote peace and stability in the region. As Eastern European expats, we know firsthand the impact of conflict on communities and families. That's why we're dedicated to using our platform to promote unity and support those working towards a free Ukraine and a free Russia.

Through our food and our actions, we aim to build bridges and foster understanding between cultures and nations. We believe that every plate of blini or shawarma we serve is an opportunity to share a message of love, tolerance, and peace. Join us in our mission to promote peace and support those fighting for freedom. Together, we can make a difference, one delicious bite at a time!
